One more time! Last night, on the fourth Thursday of the new year, our fourth new visitor came through our doors! We happily welcomed Ciaira to our rehearsal and she jumped into our warm-ups and then onto the risers, with no hesitation. Previous guests, Tracy and Sophia, were also back with us again and we are lovin' it!
The third Thursday in January brought yet another visitor to our rehearsal! Sofia is a colleague of Mary's and came to see and hear what we are all about! We're hoping to see many new faces this year and have a fun time making new friends! Welcome, Sofia!
How exciting is it to start off 2020 with two new visitors attending our first 2 rehearsals of the year? It is SUPER exciting! Tracy was invited by Jill to come and check us out on the first Thursday and returned again this past week! What a great smile and cheerful personality! Lynda's daughter, Ally, attended our second rehearsal and we hope to see her back next week! This might just be the start to a great year of meeting new friends and growing our chorus!
Happy 20th Anniversary to our fabulous Director, Terry Neill! In January 2000, Terry took a brave step out in front of the chorus and thus, began her directing career. In addition to being our director, she also coaches and instructs the chorus to improve their vocal skills and is our #1 cheerleader and supporter! We have been fortunate to have her as our leader and wish her good health, happiness and many more years with us! (Terry is in the center!)
On Dec. 5, we headed up to Concord to entertain the folks at Pleasant View Retirement! Here we are with Residents' Association President, Jerry Levine! The decorations were stunning and our audience was amazing! We had a great time with them and hope to see them again in the Spring!
Three fabulous ladies came to our rehearsal last Thursday night and had a wonderful time singing on the risers with us! It was a pleasure to have them join us for the night. We're looking forward to seeing them back with us in January!
We are so excited to welcome our three newest members to the chorus! Ella joined us in July and Norene and Pam joined us at the end of September! More friends! More voices! More fun!
We had a fabulous time singing for the folks who joined us on Friday evening in the Farm Museum at the Deerfield Fair! It was a packed house! Their wonderful applause and cheers made singing so much fun and we sang our hearts out! Great acoustics! No rain! A memorable night for all!
Always a pleasure to sing for the folks attending the Expo at Manchester Community College each year. We love to look out and see people singing along with us, smiling and just sitting back to enjoy!
We had a wonderful evening last Saturday, having been invited by the Concord Coachmen Chorus to share the risers with them. Our hosts, the Knights of Columbus in Allenstown, cooked up a delicious dinner of chicken parmesan and all the fixings for a gathering of about 80 people. After dinner, the audience was treated to an hour of barbershop singing, shared between the choruses. What a fun way to spend an evening with our friends in harmony!
Fun! Exciting! Entertaining! From beginning to end, that was our competition weekend! Congratulations to all of our singing sisters who walked onto the stage and many thanks to the wonderful audience supporting all of us!
Awesome performance by our very own quartet, MUSICALITY! They are very pleased with their score and 8th place award!
It was our delight to entertain the ladies and gentlemen at Pleasant View Retirement Center yesterday. We were greeted with many happy faces, appreciative applause and, yes, some laughter, too, as we sang and danced our way through many of our favorite ballads and uptunes. As our emcee, Terry was warm and inviting and kept the audience engaged and smiling throughout our performance. It was really nice to be invited back again!
What a pleasure it was to sing our National Anthem at the SNHU Arena for the Monarch's game this past weekend!
We ended our caroling season with two performances. On Dec. 13, we entertained shoppers at the Mall of NH and on Dec. 15, our last performance was back at the Merrimack Premium Outlets. Plenty of adults and children were on hand in both places to stop and spend a few minutes listening and enjoying the holiday spirit of our songs. Even Santa came over to chat with us and stop for a pic!

The arrival of December means it's time for Profile Chorus to get out and SING! The snowflake are flying, there's a nip in the air and those Christmas carols we've been dusting off, are ready to be sung! Last Saturday, shoppers at the Merrimack Premium Outlets were delighted to be treated to our repetoire of songs which are always entertaining! For us, the time we spend there flies by as we stroll and stop to sing in various locations throughout the mall. Folks who stop to watch and listen, smile and can even be seen singing to familiar songs with us. The kids always like our Santa songs the best and stare wide-eyed as we sing about the Grinch! It's such a pleasure to share our love of singing! We'll return to the Outlets again on the 15th from 1-3pm.
At 7pm on November 17th at the Derryfield School, Profile Chorus proudly displayed their acting and singing talents in their show entitled, "Holding Out for a Hero!". The script for the show was written by Associate Director, Kay Bilodeau, who also played a major role in the play, sang with the chorus and with her quartet, Musicality.. Other starring roles were played by Kathy Deady, Emily Navarro, Denise MacDougall and Dona Bordman who also stepped onto the risers as part of the chorus. Director Terry Neill divided her time onstage with a speaking part, singing with both the chorus and Musicality, and directing the chorus for several songs. The chorus was delighted to bring several new songs to the show as well as their competition songs and others they have enjoyed singing from years past.
The message of the show?
ANYONE CAN BE A HERO!
The audience LOVED IT!
